The Mother Nation has been an independent state since 1948 though the country has been drawn back to this present state of poverty, anxiety and desperateness by the corrupted politicians or the political system. The Independent Youth Power Party, is an upcoming political front that consists of young, educated and professional individuals who are at the fore front of the struggle in uniting the youth of Sri Lanka to cultivate the ideology of true independence.

The future on offer to our youth people is dire which includes unstable work or low-paid jobs, unemployment, continuous rise of inflation and having people struggle to pay their food and utility bills, and being saddled with billions of national debts that will take decades to pay off.
It is important that our country’s youth beliefs and views are free of conventional political ideology and independent of their own views in order to create a society which is Economically and Spiritually developed. In a united struggle for sanity of our society’s freedom from the present corrupted political system, we urge the young, educated and professional individuals to come forward into a common forum and to cultivate the ideology of true independence.

To cultivate educated and intelligent youth through our movement so that they are able to make independent, informed decisions without political slavery. Whilst to be in the fore fronts of uniting the youths of Sri Lanka to voice their opinions in National Matters we aspire to be the only independent body to represent the Sri Lankan Youth.
